Tang Soo Do

Known for its kicking artistry,

Tang Soo Do is a classical Korean martial art that utilizes kicks, punches, strikes, and wrist grabs, emphasizing breathing in its techniques with limited physical contacts in sparring. From a physical standpoint, the goal is to stop an attacker from doing harm by striking as fast as possible. However, like most classical martial arts, Soo Bahk Do is still all about peaceful confidence and not necessarily offensive.

Trivia:

Chuck Norris, among the most famous and influential martial artists of his time, trained in the art of Tang Soo Do during his time serving as an Air Force Military Police in South Korea with Shin Jae-chul, founder of the World Tang Soo Do Association, ultimately obtaining a black belt and went on to develop his own system of martial arts in the States.
